outdoor stuff and comps

Hey guys! So this entry is overdue, but better late than never I suppose. :] I don't have any recent art to post, but here are some of my watercolor scraps.

A sketch done at the Fullerton Arboretum.

Comp studies from some of my favorite picture composers, Dan McCaw, Joe Sorren, and Turner. It's easy for me to take the initiative to do comp studies (actually I find them addictive), because they're fast satisfaction, a bunch of little eye-candy. But I want to get into the habit of drawing my own things as easily.

I saw the other watercolor you did on dA and really liked it. I've never done landscape watercolors, ever. I did like the crappiest watercolor remake of an Ansel Adams rose photo in 8th grade, and that's about it. Your quickpaints put me to shaaaame! I haven't drawn anything in Paris, not even any crappy anime eye sketches yet. :( MUST GET TO THAT.

I also need to set up my blog and...uh...blog. Yeeeeeeah.

YAY ADVENTURES.
